Position Overview: The Human Resources Generalist will manage a wide range of personnel-related administrative tasks, ensuring smooth HR operations across the organization. This role will provide critical support to the Director of Operations and assist in various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining a positive and efficient work environment, helping to drive the overall success of the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate recruiting efforts, including managing hiring processes, conducting interviews, and overseeing onboarding to ensure a seamless new hire experience.
- Administer and manage employee benefit programs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and employee satisfaction.
- Oversee the registration, tracking, and reporting of continuing legal education (CLE) requirements for attorneys, ensuring timely compliance.
- Maintain and ensure the integrity of employee databases, providing accurate and up-to-date records for operational efficiency.
- Manage a variety of administrative functions that support day-to-day operations and foster a positive employee experience.
- Drive the development and execution of internal processes and procedures to improve operational effectiveness.
- Partner with the Director of Operations to proactively address and support employee relations matters.
Skills:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, and 3 to 5 years related experience
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- High level of confidentiality
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and adapt to different communication styles
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multiple groups
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Engaging, Organized, Strategic, and Analytical
- Excellent verbal and written communication
