He serves on the Minnesota Title Standards Committee, including the subcommittee that writes the survey guidelines. He is also a member of the Real Property Specialist Certification board, and in 2019, was elected as a Fellow to the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. For over 30 years, he has been a qualified neutral under Rule 114 by the Minnesota Supreme Court. David has mediated or arbitrated over 100 commercial, construction, and real estate disputes. In 2019, David was elected a Fellow for the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. David graduated from the University of Minnesota and received his law degree in 1983, cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law. Community David is a member of the Real Property Legislative Committee and Title Standards Committee of the Minnesota State Bar Association. He is an occasional instructor for the Boundary Law Class at St. Cloud State University. He is a member of the Real Property Certification Committee. He is a former President of the Builders Association of Minnesota, and a recipient of the Builders Hall of Fame award. For many years, he was a member of the Complex Construction and Commercial Arbitration Panels of the American Arbitration Association.
